No the zones need to be either neutral or owned by someone else to qualify as a takeover.

Unfortunately Revisits don't count towards there kinds of medals - you need takeovers or assists to be awarded the medal.

We don't remove zones - only move them to a better spot.

Please log the issue with this particular zone at https://issues.turfgame.com/ and if at all possible help the zonemaker out by suggesting a better spot for it.
