Unfortunately, the players who are not from Åland, Swedish-speaking Österbotten or the Turku area quite unusual yet. We are grateful for any tips on how we can get more people to discover Turf!

I am afraid that posters might drown in the multitude of posters for events, lost cats et cetera... and, besides - if there are two active Turfers in Turku/Åbo (probably Swedish-speaking): Will they manage to put up posters enough?

Same goes for Pargas/Parainen. (Edit: Thought it was only one, but I re-read the post in another thread - "Norrbyviken i Pargas".)

I think that posters might not be the best way to reach new players, word of mouth is the best way I think and almost as good I think it is if someone (more than me... :) ) manage to get Turf in a paper, radio och anything like that. When I was interviewed in Åbo Underrättelser (I think it was) there where about 10 players - but they disappeared unfortunately.
But well selected forums and Facebook-pages can work fine too !

I believe in the sense of community and competition. If it's not a problem recruiting swedish speaking Fins then it oughta be a language issue. The english content/community is simply too small and/or unappealing.

For example Turf24 and wiki should have been english first and swedish second but even more important to the community sense is the swedish Facebook group. There are groups for some of the other countries as well but unfortunately they have not reached the "selfsustaining" state.

There is Turf Suomi on Facebook - in English. Not enough, true, but at least a start.

Hey, I just discover that "Kokkolazone" is located in a building area.
Could someone please change it to the other side of the road where there is a bike-road?
