Zone suggestions - North Wales and Welsh Marches

So I've picked up a couple of suggestions that the almost total lack of Turf in the area I grew up in and visit frequently might be about to be redressed. So here's some thoughts:

Towns
- Shrewsbury : nice old county town on the River Severn. Good cycling infrastructure by British standards. Currently no zones. Neighbouring Telford, ugly 1960s concrete new town, has loads of them.
- Hereford : another nice old town with a cathedral that has no zones for miles around.
- Malvern: home of Elgar. And Jenny Lind.
- Bridgnorth: features UK's steepest Cliff Railway.
- Dolgellau/Barmouth/Fairbourne: classic holiday destinations on the Welsh coast.

Tourist spots
- The station at Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. It's the only thing most Swedes know about Wales... people always ask me to pronounce it.
- Castles. Wales is famous for these. Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Powis to name three impressive ones.
- Pistyll Rhaeadr. Highest waterfall in Britain and famous beauty spot.
- Gelert's grave, Beddgelert. Beautiful town in Snowdonia and legendary spot.
- Miniature railways. There's loads of these two. Porthmadog has two, should be worth a zone or two.

That's probably enough to be going on with. I know a few cycling people in these places who could be encouraged to try Turf, and I will probably take all of these zones sooner or later myself :)

Thanks, this will be helpful when we look over UK later this autumn.

Thanks for Shrewsbury! I visited all but one of the zones a couple of weeks ago and took all but three of them.

There are two that are behind gates that are often locked. It was mid-afternoon on a Wednesday but the zone "DingleFlower" was inaccessible as the Dingle gardens were closed from 15:15 each day. I'd suggest the zone could be moved just outside the gates to mitigate this.

Another zone, "LaurasTower", is inside the grounds of the regimental museum which also has fairly limited opening hours and costs money to access.
