New zones for Barrow-in-Furness

Post by Luthien »

Hi. I've made some suggestions for zones in the Hawcoat area of Barrow, near the hospital. Lots of open 'greens' and a popular woodland walking area (How Tun Woods) so should make good places for zones...for locals and hospital visitors.
Thanks!

Thank you! Great to see a few more added - much appreciated. I've suggested a few more that will then help to link the new area up to others but realise that other areas will take a bit of priority for looking at first :)

Excellent. I'll take some next time in need to go into work. I've made some suggestions on Barrow Island (across the water from DovaHaw zone - I wonder if anyone is going to be brave enough to take that in a kayak maybe?) which would allow some lunch break Turfing.
I've also suggested a zone in a few villages (Leece tarn, Gleaston recreation ground, Lindal green) and on the coast (Rampside light tower) to form a cycle commute loop between Ulverston and Barrow.
Thanks!
