Hi, this is a request for some zones around Carlops, Scottish Borders. It is a lovely quiet corner at the South East end of the Pentland Hills south of Edinburgh with a history of cotton weaving, coalmining and limestone mining and literature. The local pub has a list of short walks in the area (online and information sheets at https://www.allanramsayhotel.com/upload ... trails.pdf

I'd wholeheartedly support zones here - the southern pentlands is a bit of a turf wasteland just now.

Thank you Zonemakers, great to see some zones in the south Pentlands now
I managed to get out today and was able to take a few; it's a lovely quiet area to explore so I hope others will benefit and enjoy too
