Turf Forum

Starting up in a new country is always hard.
This time we have a golden opportunity though, since the native language is english! And the season is summer! And android has grown stronger than ever!

Launch date is set to June 15:th

We like to gather the power of the whole Turf community to try and make it work when we launch in Great Britain!

Anyone can state in this thread what they will do to contribute.

EXAMPLES:

• I will contact http://androidbloke.co.uk/ in different ways(mail, facebook, twitter, etc.) and try to get an article about turf.
• Simpan, Gutelappen and I will start a thread at androidsupportforum.co.uk and try to keep it as active as possible for 14 days in order to create interest and wake feelings.
• I will contact all the media in the specific town of yorkshire with a nice mail to try to get an article in at least one local newspaper.
• I will go to London and hand out 50 ads to people with android phones.
• Bombina and i will force 5 friends each to try turf and try to get them to like the game.

I will contact http://www.wired.co.uk via mail, twitter, facebook. and try to get an answer if they are interested in our game wich is working great in sweden.
I will also try to get in contact with one from their staff to get a more personal contact in order to make them interested.

I will try to reach Stuart Dredge from The Guardian in order to make this "app-journalist" interested in our upcoming launch.

I will try to be active in the World Chat and on the English part of the forum, trying to answer questions that might come up. It should be good if everyone tried to help with this so that people feel a bit more welcome and also see that our community is quite active.

only post one contains examples. The other are real, please join in and make this one release great.

The english version of the turfwiki looks like it need some more work and attention. I'll try to join in on that part

I will make TurfWidget available in the UK and post something about it on G+.

I will extend my Turfplates beta to all who will write on forums to help spread Turf.
