Re: Web-based access to chat?
Some updates have been made to the Turf Tuner:
* Fixed Unicode problem. History won't be fixed but it will work for future messages.
* Added basic Turf nick and highlighting config.
* Added World and country chats

The page is now less bright. hopefully you won't find the color scheme as painful as the previous version.Isengrim wrote:Snyggt UrbanGeeks!

I've asked the people in UK and they say the name is "United Kingdom"UrbanGeeks wrote:I haven't found any nationwide UK messages.

Strangely enough it filters to relevant regions in the drop down both when england and united kingdom are typed, even though the actual country chat isn't found.
Mismatch between which country the regions are said to belong to, and what the country chat itself is named? Or maybe the space in United kingdom messes something up?

Re: Web-based access to chat?
The reason that "United Kingdom" nation wide chat doesn't show up is that I have not added to the list since the API did not supply any messages at all from the UK nation wide chat. Hopefully that is because nobody has used that chat for a long time, and not because of a bug in the API. I have added the 7 countries whose nation wide chats had any messages. There are additionally around 25 countries in Turf that I haven't added either.embeoo wrote:Strangely enough it filters to relevant regions in the drop down both when england and united kingdom are typed, even though the actual country chat isn't found.

That handling is manual at the moment, but sometime in the future I will probably add some automation so that countries and regions that have no messages won't show up at all. Then they would also be added automatically when people start using those chats within the app.
To stop any further confusion on this topic, I might just add the empty UK and Iceland chats
The filtering might be a bit unconventional, but I find it interesting. You can search for "Sweden" or "Sverige", and you will get the nation wide chat in Sweden, and additionally all regions in Sweden. You can search for all regions that way. But as mentioned above, the UK nation wide chat is not added and will not show up.
Re: Web-based access to chat?
There are messages in te UK country chat.... Pergaps time to file a bug again, then... Pkease go ahead if you are sure the API does not return any UK country chat items
