Facebook page

Post by SaLa »

I think it's time that Turf gets a Facebook page. There turfdev can come out with status info and news in English. It doesnt need to be often. But we need something for our international players and that connects all players. I think a page is better than a group in the view of getting new players.

I think there is many players that would like to be a fan o Turf, but they are not so dedicated (yet) that they want to be members at a forum and discuss here. :)

You mean that we should have two different pages, one in English and one in Swedish?

Can't we just use the already created one - http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=133998463306590

(Or maybe I just totally misunderstood you)

We now have a facebook group, not a page. A page is more adapted towards organizations or companies who want to broadcast information to their fans if I get it correctly.

There is a difference between a page and a group :)

Turf Korea has a page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Turf-Kore ... 0402029798

When a page makes a update you will see it as a friend's update, in your news feed. When something happens in a group you get a number in the left side and maybe some kind of notification. A group is better when the members are supposed to talk to each other. A page is better when an organisation wants to reach out to people. English isn't my best language, I hope I explained okey anyway :)

If I join a group at fb I want relevant info, otherwise I qiut. So I think it's a nice way to get out with info to danish people. I guess there will be more countries after Denmark. And there are a few in the Netherlands, that hopefully will be more soon. I guess many of you think fb will be over soon, me too. But until then it's good to use it :)

(if you need help with the page I can help of course :) )
