New zones in Leek, UK

Post by steventon_gang »

Hi,

Could you please add some new zones in Leek (15km NE of Stoke-on-Trent), as I have a fellow orienteer friend who's planning on joining the game, and lives there, and would encourage him to start up.

Thanks, Steventon_gang

Thanks for adding those zones. I also suggest Birches Gardens, one on the greenery around Queens Drive, one between Adams Grove and Davenport Close, one in the greenery near Curzon Rise, one at the end of Sheep Market, one by Pickwood Avenue / Prospect Road junction and one in the greenery by Newcastle Road / Sunnyhills Road.

Thanks for all the zones that have been added in Stoke on Trent recently. Could you please add some zones around Burslem, Tunstall, Goldenhill and Kidsgrove now? There's 4 or 5 of us now regularly playing here, and am trying to encourage more over Christmas.

Hello, post seen. As you can imagine we are bit overburdened right now. I can't tell exactly when we can look into this but it would help tremendously if you can post zone suggestions, either by attaching a map with you suggestions scribbled, or use this method:

  1. Start Google Maps (on PC) and switch to satellite layer.
  2. Right click the exact spot where the zone should be centered and choose "What's here?".
  3. At the bottom of the screen a label with text and absolute coordinates appear, click the coordinates.
  4. Map now makes a search with these coordinates and the nice thing is the search is now embedded in the page web address (URL). Copy the URL and paste into forum post. Repeat for all great suggestions you might have.
