The Flitch Way

Post by flyingchicken »

Another user has mentioned this route on our local chat.
Thought I’d take the time and look a few possible zones.
As a quick background to The Flitch Way, it is about a 15 mile route which follows the old railway line which was constructed in 1869 and closed in 1972. It’s a lovely cycle and walking/running route, and accessible to join at various points.

FlitchGo (it is close to another point, so maybe not suitable).

I've noticed it earlier and am to return to it, disused railway banks are good routes. So will fill in as we go. Thanks for the detailed suggestions, but please don't be upset if I don't do exactly these, I get easily distracted by things on the map and in my head ;)

Just to bump this up. I’ve noticed 2 new players in Braintree. Before they get bored of their 7 zones, a few around the town may help keep them keen!

There, a little expansion i Braintree.

Let's hope those two will re-appear, there were only a single suggestion.

I'd appreciate more Flitch Way zones too - myself and another Turfer have been eyeing this route up as a nice regular winter walking/cycling route...and more likely to use it if there are zones there!
