Hello.
Just a wee prompt as not sure how it works.
I have suggested a few new zones in Caithness & Assynt over the last few months. Would love to see some new zones to visit.

Re: New Zones in Caithness
Yay, my favourite part of Scotland, and I agree it does need more zones!
Re: New Zones in Caithness
Some of these zones are on a landrover track near Loch More, some at the Broubster Forest, some at Dunnett Forest and a few others around beaches in Caithness.
i can't remember the locations of the Assynt suggestions.

Re: New Zones in Caithness
Hello, and thank you for the suggestions for the area. There will be some new zones over the coming weeks, which I hope many people will enjoy in the beautiful area. It was good to meet in Edinburgh, and take some zones from each other.
Re: New Zones in Caithness
Loving seeing new zones coming up.
Have suggested a few more this time around on the Caithness coast. There should be one about half way along Dunnet Beach where a small stream comes out. Another on the west side of the headland at Dunnet Head. Another on a tiny beach just west of Murkle Beach. I put one just south of Latheronwheel where there is good rock climbing. Another suggestion on the coast just south of the Castle of Old Wick.
In Sutherland I suggested Ben Hutig (53,65 using OS maps) on the Moine Peninsula and another at a most beautiful bothy at Freisgil (49,65).
Another good one without putting it in a suggestion would be Croft House at the bottom of Loch Strathy (79,49).
Other suggestions could be the three tops of Beinn Ratha (95,61) just outside Reay.

Re: New Zones in Caithness
Good to hear the new zones have been liked. Thank you for the suggestions and the post. The current allocation is coming to an end, with all zones created (with two of these going live next week!) but the suggestions remain and your forum posts can be seen for future allocations. I hope you continue to enjoy turfing!
