For a few months I have been requesting zones at the other D Day beaches in Normandy (Sword/ Juno/ Gold) in an attempt to recognise the sacrifice of many allied troops, especially in this the 80th anniversary year.
I will be travelling to Belgium/ France in October to plant a cross at the WW1 grave of a relation and then intend to visit Normandy to pay my respects to the brave personnel who fell on the beaches.
Please could consideration be given to creating these zones?
Regards
Strac
