Some additional zones on this dog walk to White Coppice and Healy Nab would be appreciated, as there are some big gaps.
Suggested locations are marked with purple stars and in more detail (with some options) here: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid= ... sp=sharing
1. Knowley Brow. This could either go on the footpath (this part is not a track any more despite what Google Maps suggests) or on the playpark. If on the playpark please make it take-able from the wide verge on the NE side as dogs are not popular in playparks)
2. Footpath up Healy Nab. This is a much better path (i.e. less muddy) that the one with zone Lower Healey, but I couldn't think of a good name for it.
3. Nab Wood. This is a path junction in the woods. There is a better (bigger, wider, flatter) junction further up (NabWood2) which is strictly too close to the Healey Nab zone but it is a steep hill so you could maybe make an exception.
4. SteepSteps. The public footpath climbs steeply up steps from the corner of Moor Road. A breather while the zone takes would be nice!
5. BewareSheep. It is quite a gap between zones Stronstey and Goit Bridge, but a fairly featureless path. The suggestion is at a gate where I have to watch out for sheep on the other side.
6. White Coppice Cricket Club. This cricket ground must be one of the most scenic around, with white cottages on one side and the fellside on the other. (The crease is on quite a slope though!). It is a very popular starting point for walks up Great Hill or along the Goit to Brinscall. I suggest putting a zone by the club house. The right of way goes past it along the track and they sell refreshments to walkers on match days. The car park at this end is for club members only and usually locked.
If this doesn't suit, there is a view of some cool victorian engineering from a bridge nearby, where Black Brook either flows under the Goit or into it depending on flows. (The Goit is a manmade channel taking water from the Roddlesworth reservoirs round Great Hill to the Rivington Reservoirs and thence on to supply Liverpool with drinking water.)
7. White Coppice. This is a very pretty hamlet. I suggest putting a zone where the footpath crosses Back Brook on the approach (or exit) as I do not think there is sufficient space in the centre.

Re: White Coppice
Aagh! Just discovered that the road & footway over the dam near #4 (Waterman's Cottage) will be shut for months from Monday 2nd Dec while they make repairs to the dam.
There is no obvious alternative route for this section.
So this means that #4 (steep steps) plummets down the priority list while #2 and #3 shoot up it.
