If you look at the current top 10 in the world... it does not look like swedes have a problem playing for points.

Re: Turf obalanserat mellan länder(?)
If you actually care to see the unfairness, you can't look at the current top 10 in the world, this is exactly what we are talking about. You need to dig a little bit deeper as we have tried to explain to you in this thread. Just handwavey "It works for me" isn't really cutting it.

This can also be turn around back to you, why don't you make it work for you? Turf can be played in many different ways, the top 10 lists on warded should tell you that.Moru wrote: ↑06 Dec 2024 10:40 If you actually care to see the unfairness, you can't look at the current top 10 in the world, this is exactly what we are talking about. While I as you was not a fun of the new Greed medals, there are more medals that are easier to take in high activity areas (all time based ones). So there is no need of you be jealous about the medals.
I don't think it is possible to make Turf as you called it a sport were it is totally equal and fair to everyone. However even here there is a solution for you, the events and bonanzas. Here everyone has the same numbers of zones, mode of transportation and time.
Please feel free to come up with ideas of making Turf more fair... I just don't think that removing +1 PPH will solve anything.
Re: Turf obalanserat mellan länder(?)
I never said it was possible to make it completely 100% fair. However it is extremely easy to make it MORE fair. Actually I have a hard time finding a way to make it LESS fair than what it is now. It's like the makers sat down and tried to figure out the most unfair way to make the game. How can we make the game so unfair that it has no way of ever growing bigger than it is now? It is incentivising shrinking, not growing. Why is that?
It does not help that you try to find new ways for me to play. I have been playing this for a while, I have my goals already. Bonanzas are too expencive and time consuming for me to go to. The one I was to was in my town.
I know you don't think it is possible to make it more fair but that is because you have not even thought about it. I have thought about it for a very long time. I have done tests, I have done comparisons, I have lots of data to back it up. I was like you when I had just started but I did my legwork since then. This game is built to not be fair.

Re: Turf obalanserat mellan länder(?)
When reading your comments it seems clear to me that you lack perspective. You should play a few rounds in low activity areas before making to many assumptions. You only see the negative sides of high activity areas and the grass always in your opinion greener in low activity areas.
My best improvement suggestion is that zone growth should also be based on activity. So if you are a new Turf player in a new Turf city, yes there should be a decent amount of zones to get you started. However to get enough zones to play for top positions you should be encouraged to recruit more players.
I think more activity (local players) should always lead to an easier time making points in a perfect Turf world.

Re: Turf obalanserat mellan länder(?)
Wrong assumptions again, I am playing in low activity areas in the summer.
I don't understand what that idea would change. Instead of a fast each change by remvoing the +1, +2, +3 PPH you want lots of zonemakers to make new zones around every new player that shows up? I think that would take an enormous time to do well. And it still would do nothing about the unfair situation of the game.

Re: Turf obalanserat mellan länder(?)
Forgive me if I understood you wrong... thought you were of the opinion that UK and Germany had too many zones. I think that low activity areas should have a slower zone growth than high activity areas.
For the growth of the game yes, why would it be wrong to place out zones where a new player shows up?
Do you now also want to remove +2 and +3 zones? Would it not your case be better to remove +7, +8 and +9 zones. Then your take points would be better?

Re: Turf obalanserat mellan länder(?)
I'm talking about what would be the absoultely easiest to hope for actually gets implemented. To change a 1 to a 0 is easy. To grow number of zones takes actual work and is hard to make good.
It would be gold to have a responsible zonemaker that gets a ping with location every time a new player shows up in a deserted area. This would also demand a lot of dedication I'm affraid.

Re: Turf obalanserat mellan länder(?)
I have tried it and it gives you alot more point, more or less 2-3 times more point. AS an example with uK players with same amount of takes...9 million points more than me...yellow zones the whole round and around 25000 points pph each day. They get an obscene amount of free points and should not compete for people in other countries or for gold. They still get zones every day even though 75% are held by 1-2 players all year round. And the rest of us get 1 zone each 2 months...just silly and show sthat Turf have no idea or dont give a shit.ojarnstr wrote: ↑06 Dec 2024 15:46 When reading your comments it seems clear to me that you lack perspective. Re: Turf obalanserat mellan länder(?)
I am not saying you are wrong but still a lot of work is also needed to get to that 25000 pph a day.
